Painted Rock Master Plan
Location: Sparks, Nevada
“an intricate and close grained diversity of uses that give each other constant mutual support, both economically and socially” – Jane Jacobs
Painted Rock provides a series of central neighborhood cores, a mixed use of commercial, residential and public facilities all within close proximity of each other. This promotes pedestrian thoroughfares and cycling while reducing vehicular use and traffic.
This development will be built with a traditional neighborhood structure that has a strong, dense core of amenities, commercial businesses, mixed-use retail and residences that blends into less dense single-family neighborhoods, softening the community edge so that the line between “man-made” and nature fades.
