Don Clark is the founding principal of CATHEXES.  In his career as an architect and planner, he has executed a variety of projects in scale from single-family homes to a planned development of over 3,000 acres with 5,000 living units and over 2 million square feet of mixed commercial including a town center.  Urban infill is his main focus, and all of the projects he has been a development partner in have been urban infill projects with mixed use strategies.  He is the architect for T’essera, a 6-block high-tech mixed use project tied to Apple, Siemens and other companies investing in data center development in Reno.  He is also collaborating architect for Millbrae Serra Center, a 1.5 million square feet mixed use development in Millbrae, California.

In 1997, CATHEXES received the Nevada AIA Firm Award, a lifetime firm award voted on by our peers.

As a principal in multiple real estate ventures with a focus on urban infill and sustainability, two of his recently completed projects received LEED Platinum and LEED Gold distinctions.

Don Clark is a co-founder of REA250 and NVA250 (the Renewable Energy Accelerator and Nevada Venture Accelerator) with his wife, Dr. Susan Clark.  These ventures are working in collaboration with Fortune 500 companies and other public sector and private developers to import innovation and technology that will enhance the business and the cultural development of the Northern Nevada region.  His involvement with NVA250 has also developed a strong partnership with Siemens.  They are collaborating in multiple projects throughout the State of Nevada.  These projects range from building technologies, energy solutions, and transportation solutions to public private partnerships in technology and research.

Jeremy has been with CATHEXES since 2001 and has contributed to, managed, and designed several award winning projects.  From residential and commercial projects, to urban design and large scale design projects, he focuses on a cohesive design-client team relationship while pursuing his passion for design and sustainable architecture.

Jerry has over 30 years of experience in the field of architecture, from running his own residential design firm for 10 years in the South San Jose area of Northern California, to the 10+ years managing various project types while with CATHEXES.  He has managed projects ranging from custom residential to multifamily residential, commercial retail to professional office, night clubs to restaurants, and HUD funded senior housing.  In addition to his professional architectural experience, he is also an accomplished airbrush artist and custom painter having most recently custom airbrushed the helmet used by women’s skeleton sled Silver Medalist, Noelle Pikus-Pace, during the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

Loretta has over 30 years of experience in the field of architecture managing various project types from retail, military, marine mammal and multi-family. She has a passion for sustainable architecture and has achieved two LEED Platinum certifications.

As a new member of the CATHEXES team and a new resident of Nevada she is looking forward to engaging in the Tahoe basin architecture and all the enjoyment the mountains provide.
